The following details the approximate daily earnings for offshore oil jobs. These salaries might vary according to the country, the company or whether the platform is located domestically or internationally.
Wages start at US$ 300 per day for Roustabouts. Roughnecks (drill deck workers) can earn up to $355 per day. This would translate to US$ 47,500 per year. From here it is possible to be promoted to a Driller. In this case the daily rate might be around the US$420.00 mark, which means US$56,250 per year. Toolpusher and Chief Driller positions allow you to earn between $75,000 - $100,000 per year.
